Enerlink has a role to play in contributing to the circular economy and is committed to sustainable development - meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Concern for the environment is an integral and fundamental part of our commitment. As part of our service offering, we aim to reduce the impact on the environment from our operations due to greenhouse gas emissions and to provide governance in this area throughout the business.
Our Approach
Our approach to sustainability is informed by our leadership team and what they expect of Enerlink. Our leadership have themselves a strong commitment to sustainability.

• Group leadership want us to manage our environmental risks to enable sustainable growth.
• Suppliers want to sell their products and we aim to provide reliable, ethical supply chains routes.
• Communities in which we operate want fair and ethical companies as neighbours and we want to demonstrate that we are a trusted and responsible company.
Enerlink is committed to the 17 UN Sustainability Goals and our position as a supply chain management organisation means that we contribute directly towards a number of these.
In terms of our environmental/sustainability actions, we will:
• Promote responsibility for the environment within the organisation and communicate and implement this policy at all levels within the workforce.
• Promote the reduction of energy, water and other resources.
• Minimise waste by reduction, re-use and recycling methods.
• Comply with all regional environmental legislation.
• Ensure that our policies and procedures are complimentary to this policy.
• Encourage all vendors to commit to the sustainable development philosophy.
• Encourage staff to develop their own local programmes and initiatives.
